Ms. Hamp was born and raised in Waynesboro, VA.  She graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Psychology and Special Education.  Ms. Hamp went on to earn her Masters in Education at the University of Virginia. Ms. Hamp began her teaching career in Charlottesville, VA where she served as the School to Work Coordinator and Special Education teacher. She has spent the past 11 years here in Charlotte working with exceptional children within CMS as well as at KIPP Academy Charlotte. Ms. Hamp is Nationally Board Certified and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
