Instructional Methods
Kennedy Charter Public School encourages life-long learning. Our faculty and staff participate in staff development and training throughout the school year and during the summer. Kennedy has partnered with Empowering Engagement to provide year long training to enhance teaching and benefit student performance.
The goal of Empowering Engagement is to provide a sequential learning structure that employs 4 proven steps for successful student engagement, classroom productivity, and powerful learning. The research-based steps include:

Each of the steps includes tools and approaches to help the teacher conduct meaningful learning. Mears Consulting provides training, coaching, small group planning, and one-on-one consultations for Educators, Administrators, and Peer Coaches. Each specified group differs by the tools created and used to provide productivity in learning.
